It's basic supply and demand, as long as bio diesel works as well as petrodiesel there's no reason to sell it for less. If you priced bio diesel below petrodiesel it would be instantly consumed and there would be constant shortages. It's the same way with feedstock oil, if someone will pay more the price naturally goes up.
