Whoa, and we thought that iPhone is getting Flash support alongside with the SDK. But, as it turns out, Steve Jobs threw a couple of jabs at Adobe, saying that Flash is too slow while Flash Lite sucks (ok, he didn’t say “sucks” but he meant it), adding that he’d like to see something in the middle.
While this is not a definitive “no” to Flash, when Steve says something like this it’s likely that he really means it, and that he’s got a backup plan, be it developing his own platform for mobile RIAs or (gasp!) perhaps even switching to Silverlight (not gonna happen, but hey, it’s an option). Wired suggests a third option: give limited SDK to “amateur” developers, and Flash support for approved SDK licensors.
We’ll see soon enough, but in the meantime, we’d like to see your opinion in the poll below.

Will iPhone Get Flash Support?
- Are you kidding? People want Flash, badly. It's a yes!
- Yes, but not that soon. Apple will wait for Flash to get faster.
- Yes, but SDK will give limited access to developers
- Nope, iPhone will join the dark side of Silverlight
- Nah, they'll go with their own standard.
